Good Afternoon School District of Wild Rose Students and Families-

Lately, we have seen a surge in cases of COVID-19 affecting the High School.  We currently have 5 active cases in the District and it has become more challenging to staff the building.

Earlier this week our administrative team met.  We had a very productive conversation on the status of the District, specifically the high school.  We came to a consensus to recommend to the Board of Education to take our High School (grades 9-12) in the virtual (PINK) Learning Phase starting Monday, November 16 through Thanksgiving break, bringing the students back into the building on November 30.

There was another productive conversation with the Board of Education last night to discuss this recommendation.  At the end of the healthy discussion, there was unanimous consensus to confirm the recommendation.

We believe this is the correct action needed at this time to do our part to help slow the spread and if there are asymptomatic spreaders to reduce their exposure in the buildings.

High School students are still eligible to receive free breakfast and lunch during your time in remote learning.  Breakfast and lunch can be picked up between 11am-2pm each school day during your remote learning period.  Please contact our Food Service Director, Mrs. Jessica Monteferrante, to place your request with her to pick up lunch and breakfast.  You can send her an email: monteferrantej@wildroseschools.org or call 920-622-4201 ext 1419 to order.

If you need to arrange any pick up or drop off of materials please contact the Middle/High school office.

Lastly, the administration and the Board of Education want to share their deep appreciation for everyone’s cooperation and understanding as we make this move to virtual learning for our students in grades 9-12.  We hope these recent decisions regarding our District show that we are dedicated to our 2020-2021 Re-Opening Schools plan.

Thank You for your time
